嫩草影院

on Monday, September 12, 2016

Historic flooding in Louisiana impacted upwards of 155,000 homes and 60 Southern Baptist churches across Southern Louisiana. 嫩草影院 joins with the New Orleans Baptist Association (NOBA) in a 嫩草影院 Day of Service, Saturday, Sept. 24.

Volunteers will work in teams of 8 -10. Transportation will be provided.

Participants should dress in suitable work clothing that can be thrown away at the end of the day, if needed due to conditions at the work site. Inexpensive protective masks that can be purchased at neighborhood stores are recommended. Gloves and closed toe shoes such as tennis shoes are also recommended. Volunteers are asked to bring a packed lunch, water bottles and drinks such as Gatorade, and snacks for the day.

Tools such as hammers or nail bars may be useful to bring, if available.  For more information, contact Dr. Ken Taylor at ktaylor@nobts.edu

All participants are asked to meet at the New Orleans Baptist Association office at 2222 Lakeshore Dr., New Orleans, near the University of New Orleans campus, at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

New Orleans and the 嫩草影院 family were the recipients of an historic recovery and rebuild effort after Hurricane Katrina, a response that helped shape and hone the skills of the SBC Disaster Relief and solidified their recognition nationally. Service to others in need often opens doors for the Gospel. Be a part of this 嫩草影院 effort to give back.
